Proof Checking

Proof Checking

The ultimate responsibility of delivering an error-free translation to you rests with the proofreader who compares the translated version with the original text. He/she goes through the translation with a toothcomb, looking for spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, misunderstandings, omissions or ambiguities, if any. Moreover, he/she goes a step further to see that it is in sync with the current trends in linguistic and cultural developments. A proofreader does not only point out shortcomings but makes suggestions to improve the syntax and clarity of the text.

Our proofreaders are independent native translators, who are specialised in their subject areas. They are the best in the field, which makes us confident to provide proofreading services for all the major International and Indian languages.

We undertake text from any media type like abstracts, books, CD ROMs, dictionaries, slide presentations, websites etc.

Regardless of the size of the project, we make sure to proof read all our big and small translations, not once, not twice but at least three times. Only after every translation piece has gone through such a thorough scrutiny that we allow it to be sent to the client.

Many times we go through an independent proof checking exercise by a separate translator if the client so desires.
